The entomological Biocca collection, dating from the 1950s and 1960s, includes about 11,000 specimens of insects (Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Odonata, Hymenoptera, Homoptera, Heteroptera, Diptera, Orthoptera) from the Amazon basin.
