This important paleontological collection presents a large amount of mammal fossil remains of lower and middle Pleistocene. It is the result of several excavations campaigns in the Colfiorito basin between 1987 and 2009, conducted by the Science Museum of Camerino University with the Natural History Museum of Florence University and Soprintendenza Archeologica delle Marche.
